Daiven's Newborn Pictures!

My friend Renee came over earlier this week to take newborn photos of Daiven.  She also photographed Brady and Clark in their first couple weeks of life!  I treasure these pictures!  Renee does such an amazing job of capturing their sweet infant looks!  and she does it right in our home.  Renee brought 2 of her daughters with her.  Tilly is her assistant, and Kalina came to play with Brady and Clark.  To see some of the pictures of Daiven, the cutest baby in the whole world!  go to Renee's site http://bakersdozen.typepad.com/little_earthling_photo/

I lost my camera for the day

I spent a lot of time today looking for my camera.  Our house is a mess and I should have been cleaning instead of searching for my camera, but Daiven is 2 weeks old today and was being so cute!  He was awake more today than any other day since his birth.  Well, it wasn't until almost 5:00 and still no camera, when I remembered Micah mentioning wanting to take pictures of the house he's been building.  I called Micah and the mystery of the missing camera was solved!  I missed some good shots of the boys, but Micah got pictures of the beautiful house he's building!

Micah is thankful God provided another job building houses.  Micah loves home building!  He says this house is a craftsman cottage style.  They're almost done siding it.

Orange Lunch!

Because my boys are so special to me, and they were being such good little boys!  I made them an orange lunch.  Brady's favorite color is orange and Clark just likes all these foods!  I love how the littlest things can make kids so excited!  Having kids helps me remember to enjoy simple thing in life!   

After eating his orange food, Brady went on to eat a whole peanut butter and jelly sandwich.  Both boys have big appetites!  Our grocery budget seems to keep growing.  I need to start some serious meal and snack planning.  Any inexpensive, healthy, meal/ snack ideas anyone?

Our Davey boy is a good sleeper so far!  He sleeps right through his brothers wrestling, laughing, yelling, right next to him.  I think he likes all the noise!     

New little bundle of JOY!

Daiven Barrett joined our family over a week ago!  What a blessing he is to our family!  It's been a busy adjustment!  I'm so thankful Micah took time off work to help and my mom "Nani" helped out too!  I can see I'm going to be a busy mom, there hasn't been very many free moments lately! 
Davey was born on January 20 @ 5:30am.  He was 7lbs 8 oz and 20 inches long.
He's been such a good baby this far!  He hardly cries and is sleeping and eating very well.  Oh, and pooping a lot!  We're all in love with our little Davey already!

Roman Shades

We are still waiting to meet our baby.  I am a week away from my due date today!  I had myself thinking this baby would come early since Brady came 2 days before his due date and Clark came 2 weeks before his.  Well, I guess every pregnancy is different just as every baby is completely different.  I can't wait to meet this new baby and get to know his or her individual personality!  Every day for the past week I've been thinking, "maybe today is the day our baby will come", but nothing but braxston-hicks so far.  Trusting that God's timing is perfect!

I'm actually thankful our baby didn't come too early!  With moving in less than 2 months ago, I've had lots of unpacking, organizing, and projects I wanted to get done.  With not much energy and the need for lots of naps, I've been very slow at getting my "to do" list done.  I still have lots of projects I'd love to do, but I got the most pressing ones done!  Last on my "to do before the baby comes" list was finishing the roman shade for our bedroom.  It's done!  And I love how it turned out!

We're still waiting for our baby.  Staying busy, but feeling very anxious!  When will he or she come???
On Thursday evening we got to visit the fire station!  Brady and Clark loved it! Thank you Jake and Sarah!

Break In The Rain

It was pouring down rain this morning!  I was disappointed because I was hoping to take the boys out side and go for a walk.  Thankfully the rain let up late morning and we went out to play!  It was surprisingly warm!  Like in the 50s warm with a refreshing breeze blowing!  We actually played out side for close to an hour.  Being out side was making me excited for spring!  When I can start gardening and the boys can run around in bare feet!  I got a chair a pad of paper and started making a spring to do list.  Our yard needs  a lot of work.  I love yard work/ gardening!  I can't wait for SPRING! 

By the time we were getting hungry for lunch, the boys were all dirty!  They had been "building a house" in some mud, so I decided they better take baths before lunch and nap time.
